Okay, I'm not really sure why I'm even posting this one. It's pretty much a disaster on SOOOO many level's! The story behind it is that I wanted to try to sculpt clothing convincingly...and had just seen "The Phantom Menace" So I figured an Alien Jedi would be cool. The aliens actual design is a character thats in the movie.(Somewhere!?) The actual sculpt just doesn't work for me on so many levels....You be the judge. Needless to say, I think a sculpture is a failure, when my favorite thing about it is the Lightsaber hanging from his belt! :(

This was My 1st sculpture using "super-sculpy" I think it was done sometime in 1996 or '97?! Its an Orc from an animated version of The Return Of the King. I've learned so much since I sculpted this guy, If i was really motivated I would go back and re-do the entire thing.....(pay not attention to the thumb prints on his belly....and the terrible paintjob, UGH!!)
This is a Character Called Axewell Tiberius or Monkey-Man Created by one of my favorite comic book artists, Arther Adams. The sculpture was originally concieved as a complette body.....Sadly Other projects and work got in the way...So I decided to leave it as a bust...Which in my opinion is the funnest part of the sculpt anyway!
